"Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about making mothers strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength."

I am also pleased to announce that I am now a certified and licenced Placenta Ecapsulation Specialist with IPEN (Independant Placenta Encapsulation Network) and offer this service in the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell, Birmingham, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

IPEN Placenta Network is an International Network of Placenta Encapsulation Specialists who are dedicated to new mothers by providing the opportunity to benefit from their placenta after birth.

IPEN trusts in the natural healing powers of the placenta. As mothers ourselves, we understand the need for post-birth support. We believe our body has designed the placenta as a unique gift - a specially formulated supplement for the new mother after the intense experience of labour and delivery.

To help a new mother benefit from her placenta without the fuss, I specialise in dehydrating and encapsulating the placenta into ‘easy to swallow’ capsules, encouraging a gentle, quick recovery.

Placenta Capsules can:

* Encourage a healthy milk supply

* Reduce post-natal bleeding

* Replenish nutrients—vitamins and minerals

* Balance post-birth hormones

* Give you the energy to cope with a busy day

* Prevent baby blues and/or post-natal depression

I also offer the following additional placenta services:

Raw Placenta Smoothie

Placental Homeopathic Remedy - Also beneficial to the baby as well as the mother.

Placenta 'Mother' Essence

Placenta Tincture - Also beneficial to the baby as well as the mother.

Placenta Creams - Also beneficial to the baby as well as the mother.

As an IPEN Placenta Specialist I follow the IPEN Code of Practice which has been reviewed by the Health Protection Unit, adhering to UK government regulations.  I use hospital grade cleansers and sterilisers to disinfect all my equipment between clients.
